This site will function as an online resource for essential documents, contact numbers and information, allowing you to quickly access required details at anytime.

NIGHT SHIFT PROCESS

​

  1. Obtain permit to work from site.

  2. Check in on WhatsApp group.

  3. Ensure you have your jobs on JobLogic before your shift and that you have accepted your job - Day engineers, contact Ben Carter or Ben Newson to raise jobs & Night engineers, contact helpdesk (01518 050383) to raise jobs during shift.

  4. Introduce yourself to the Shift/Operations Manager on site; ask if there are any issues that need to be addressed or kept an eye on, update them with progress of works carried out throughout shift...Keeping in constant communication with Shift/Operations Managers to build a positive rapport.

  5. Fill in your details on the magnetic white board on control panel so they can contact you for any faults.

  6. Open Amazon's new iAuditor App to complete their pre-start up check process - Click Here 

  7. Initial walk around / inspection of the system, carrying out any preventative works, clearing of debris, powering system up and testing the system fully prior to production. 

  8. During shift, hourly walkaround system and update group with any issues, concerns or findings that may help the team... even during quiet times, please do what ever you can to help and support site.

  9. Keep the WhatsApp groups updated throughout shift regarding; work undertaken, stoppages, downtime, breakdowns, spares requests and any recommendations.

  10. Complete  WhatsApp night shift engineering report (https://bit.ly/3poDJge) by 07:00.

  11. At End of shift, prior to departure please debrief Amazon shift manager / ops team on the shift and any issues or recommendations.

  12. Ensure all jobs on JobLogic have been completed correctly and signed off using the "4 point process".

CRITICAL JOBLOGIC BREAKDOWN PROCESS

​

  • If any faults or breakdowns occur that you cannot fix within 30 minutes you must call the escalation engineer on call to brief them should a senior support engineer need to be dispatched to site.

  • During a breakdown, it is critical that you keep posting regular updates on WhatsApp group as Amazon demand downtime updates every 15 minutes. 

  • If a TT has not been raised please call the Joloda helpdesk (01518 050383) ​​​​​​​to raise the job on JobLogic 

  • ​​​​​​​It is paramount that when completing the job tickets on JobLogic that you follow the "4 point process" (click on 4 point process to be taken to example) which will allow Amazon to see in detail the works carried out on site.
