After a safety sensor is changed the system will need to be reset using the reset function on the main control panel this would need to be done twice to re-passivate the safety program. As the switch was changed while the control system was still powered up.

We would recommend the system to be powered down to carry out this task and not hot swap safety devices.

 

To power cycle the 24v DC part or the installation we would recommend the following process.

 

• Stop the system using the system stop on the main control panel.

• Switch the 24DC off using the Sitop PSE2000U units show in image below in relevant panel.

• Change faulty/damaged switch.

• Switch 24DC back on using the Sitop PSE2000U.

• Using the estop and reset on the main panel reset twice stop and then restart the system.
