Job Description
The Operational Excellence team operates at a national level providing support for performance improvement across all functions of the Customer Service & Supply Chain function, in line with the CSSC One Supply Chain Strategy.
The team is structured into two teams with dedicated resources working with functional leads at BU and site level:
Your Responsibilities
• Implementation of the Operational Excellence programme across Manufacturing & Distribution
• Industrial Performance: manages the definition and execution of performance improvement projects across sites, especially in Manufacturing To support our aim of strengthening our Industrial Performance activities.
• Extending the GB Portfolio approach to identify specific loss reduction projects to improve Asset Utilisation at a portfolio level.
• Contribute to improving the functionality and use of Lineview and other systems providing performance data & monitoring
• Lead the frontline operational implementation of new tools and reporting using Tableau and PowerBi.
• Cross-functional working with BU and site representatives from Asset Care, QESH and Scheduling
Skills and Knowledge
• Experienced Production Manager with a demonstrated track record of increasing performance through structured application of standards, data and routines.
• Knowledge of OE principles and CI methods with proven results of sustaining improvements through embedding standards in operational execution (SDCA)
• Good analytical and communication skills
