Job Description
Our client is looking for an Electrical / Mechanical Engineer with additional competencies within facility maintenance. You will install & perform preventative maintenance & minor repairs on equipment/electrical systems/plumbing.

Your Responsibilities
- Basic preventive maintenance & minor repairs on conveyors, rollers & other machinery. Oiling machines, checking nuts etc.
- Maintenance around the site/ground/trailers including such tasks as changing bulbs, bashing out bumps, putting things on walls.
- Ordering parts where required.
- Ability to change PC boards.
- Basic inspection of refrigeration systems.
- Basic preventative maintenance tasks on MHE.
- Operation of power tools, cutting torch & other welding equipment.
- Utilising motorised lift/rental equipment.
Skills and Knowledge
Experience
- Trade school courses or experience in one or more of the following preferred areas: building maintenance, refrigeration maintenance (Ammonia, CO2 and/or Freon), or Material Handling Equipment.
- Able to work in temperatures ranging from -25c to 37c whilst wearing freezer gear/PPE.
- Able to lift a minimum of 25kg.
- Comfortable working at heights and in loud environments.
- Skills in basic computing, multi-tasking, organisation, problem-solving.
- Fully proficient with power tools & hand tools.
- Able to complete preventative maintenance with supervision/instruction.
