Job Description
We have an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding team involved in providing industries across the UK with integrated materials handling solutions. These industries range from ecommerce, warehouse, distribution and logistics through to food and drink and pharmaceuticals manufacturers.
Your Responsibilities
• Create a wider sales presence in the target marketplace, responding to all leads and website and telephone enquiries.
• Working with the proposals team to formulate, design and cost conveyor layouts
• Visits to both potential customer and existing customer sites around the UK
• Have the ability to assess site conditions for project requirements and provide basic site survey’s to be able to quote.
• Preparation of quotations and costings for projects.
• Performing sales presentations to clients.
• Maintain the CRM system to maintain good on-going communications with customers and potential new customers.
• Attend sales exhibitions across the UK to generate leads.
• New business development and maintaining of existing customers
• Work with project team post order.
Skills and Knowledge
• AutoCAD 2D would be ideal.
• Full, clean, driving licence is essential.
• Strong level of English and mathematics together with great written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
• Knowledge of materials handling systems and other relevant sectors.
• Confident with sales negotiating situations with clients.
• Proven track record in solution-systems selling.
