Job Description
- Complete planned ITS equipment maintenance activities and routine electrical testing and inspections on associated equipment.
- Responding to fault reports and call outs within contractual timescales (KPI’s) and undertake activities as assigned by the SDM.
- Ensure accuracy of all fault records data recorded on Fault Management System.
- Ensure new project work installations are of a high standard and safe working practices are followed whilst working on site.
- Provide technical support to customers and Trainee's.
- Competently liaise with both customer & SDM to discuss problems, issues, programme of works etc.
- To be aware of individual contract requirements.
- To ensure that any project paperwork is accurate and returned in a timely manner.
- To ensure that OSHAS 18001 is being adhered to.
- To ensure that all working practices are in accordance with Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental management systems at all times.
- To ensure that all PPE appropriate to the task and inline with the RAMS is being correctly worn.
- Ensure your vehicle, tools spares and equipment to be used are safe. and serviceable
- To be available to attend training courses and tool box talks, whether they are locally or nationally based.
- KPI Adherence for maintenance activities, assist a Senior Technician if required on completion of project works ensuring a successful switch-on of any new installations.
Your Responsibilities
- To install and maintain ITS equipment to a high standard.
- Competently liaise with both customers & managers.
- Contract Administration example: timesheets and job numbers, stock requistions, vehicle mileage forms.
- Through knowledge of company Health & Safety policies, procedures and methodologies.
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, tools and PPE in a serviceable condition.
- Guidance, training, sharing of job-specific knowledge and experience, and provide support to all colleagues as required.
