Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Electrical Engineer to work with one of the largest manufacturers in the world as an ASRS Technician, with great progression and growth within the business.

Your Responsibilities

As a high performing Electrical Engineer, you will provide technical expertise and innovative ideas to existing processes and systems. This exciting position will have you working in a fast-paced, automated warehouse handling over 200 vehicle movements and around 2,000 pallets received daily from the on-site manufacturing operation. These need to be accurately recorded and safely and promptly put away into the ASRS.

Skills and Knowledge

• Using your knowledge to safely maintain machinery within the automated warehouse, ensuring required outputs are achieved and CRS targets are reached.
• Managing an advanced maintenance plan through completion of all asset care tasks.
• The ability to work at height and to form part of the safety rescue team.
• You will supply exceptional technical support to execute equipment/product changes and critical cleaning processes effectively and efficiently.
• Using your knowledge to complete both preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring that all parts of the warehouse remain fully operational.
• Establish effective use of the Central Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Sharing your Technical expertise with colleagues to drive Operational Excellence/Functional Excellence.
• Ensuring a safe-working environment for self and colleagues by following site safety best practices.

Experience

• Strong knowledge of Electrical engineering
• HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject (extensive work experience may be considered)
• Good working knowledge of PLC’s (Alan Bradley would be advantageous)
• The ability to work at height – up to 100ft
